Saints and Sinners is an annual event hosted by the Steelworks Center of the West. It is a self-guided tour of Pueblo’s historic churches (the Saints) and taverns (the Sinners) that begins with brunch and a presentation at the Steelworks Museum, where you will receive a full-page informational booklet with details about the event and historical information about the churches and taverns in this year’s line up. This year’s event is on Saturday, October 21, beginning at 10:00 am at the Steelworks Museum. Participating churches are open from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm, and the taverns are open from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. Please feel free to visit the Steelworks Museum or one of our sponsors as you make your way around town.
The price of year’s event is $25, and includes brunch (breakfast burritos!), admission to the Steelworks Museum, a presentation from Pueblo Community College history professor Brad Bowers, and a full-page informational booklet. We have also partnered up with Pueblo-area Uber drivers to make this year’s event safe and easy. If you’ve never used the Uber ride sharing service before, our staff will be on hand to assist you and your first ride will be free! In addition to all of this, guests will be supporting our mission to preserve Pueblo’s unique steel-making history and our efforts to pass that legacy on to future generations. Check out the flyer below for more information, and thank you for your ongoing support!
