The Steelworks YMCA, once located at the corner of East Abriendo Ave. and Canal Street, entertained CF&I employees and their families from the time of its opening in 1920 until the early 1960s. Perhaps one of its most popular features was its movie theater. Join Steelworks staff for an evening of two silent films and a cartoon, similar to what would have been shown in the Steelworks YMCA theater in the early days of Hollywood.

Popcorn, drinks and snacks will be available for purchase.

Shown in collaboration with the Steelworks YMCA exhibit, “CF&I At Play” currently at the Steelworks Museum.
