Free Day at the Museum

As part of a larger collaboration between the city’s museums, with guidance from Historic Pueblo, Inc., the Steelworks Museum offers free admission on certain days throughout the year with the next one on Saturday, April 28, 2018. Come learn about the impact the Colorado Fuel & Iron Company had on the history and development of Pueblo and Southern Colorado, free of charge! The Steelworks Museum features exhibits relating to historic mining and steelmaking, the unique and diverse Bessemer neighborhood, and the CF&I medical dispensary as it existed in the 1940’s. We also feature rotating exhibits that change every three to four months.
