Saints and Sinners is an annual event hosted by the Steelworks Center of the West. It is a self-guided tour of Pueblo’s historic churches (the Saints) and taverns (the Sinners).
NEW this year, we are having family activities in the Museum, 215 Canal St., from 1 to 3 p.m. to celebrate Dia de los Muertos.
This year, you have the option to do the whole tour for $30; just the churches (includes breakfast) for $15; or just the taverns for $10.
The tavern tour will feature a special behind the scenes tour of Walter’s Brewing Company from 7 to 8 p.m. Groups of 15 to 20 at a time will be led on a guided tour. Participants must have the tavern wristband in order to take the tour.
8:30 a.m. Breakfast and pick up tour booklets at the Museum, 215 Canal St.
9 a.m. to Noon Tour of the churches:
*Trinity Lutheran, 701 W. Evans Ave.
*Temple Emmanuel, 1325 N. Grand Ave.
*First Presbyterian Church, 220 W. 10th St.
*First United Methodist, 310 W. 11th St.
*Ascension and Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 420 W. 18th St.
1 to 3 p.m. FREE Dia de Los Muertos activities in museum community room. Rocky Mountain Head Start have a booth as well!
5-9 p.m. Tour of the taverns
* Gus’ Place, 1201 Elm St.
* 7th St. Station, 112 W. 7th St.
* The Senate Bar and Grill, 219 S. Grand Ave.
* Downtown Bar, 103 Central Plaza, FREE drink for participants (must show wristband)
7-8 p.m. * Walter’s Brewing Company, 126 Oneida St., Behind the scenes brewery tour from (limited to 15-20 at a time- must show wristband)
* Spirit House Cabaret, 611 N. Main St., FREE admission to Burlesque show at 9 p.m., ($10-$20 value- must show wristband)
