Steel-ebration is a one-day, community-wide, family-fun celebration of all things steel in Pueblo. This event also is a fundraiser to support the mission of the museum, to provide continuing education to the public through the preservation of historic artifacts and buildings of the Colorado Fuel & Iron Company, and related activities to the industrialization of the entire Western United States.
Held on Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 2-10 p.m., at 215 Canal St., in Pueblo, the day will feature tours of the still active Steel Mill and tours of the underground tunnel that connected the mill to CF&I medical dispensary (now the museum). The day also includes performances from the Salida Circus; a feature concert by The Constant Tourists, a well-known band from Denver; other solo and duo music performances in the beer garden; children and family activities; food and other vendors; and so much more!
